Fitting an oil gauge? is it easy

I am looking to get rid of my single nomad pillar and getting a twin one to house my boost gauge and oil temp gauge

Is it easy to fit an oil temp gauge (as in fit it myself)? mechanical I presume?

also how long does it typically take for the oil gauge to reach the right temp?

I used a sump plug tapped out to take the sender, It's fairley easy J
Mine takes about 10-15 mins to get up to temp
