fitting exhaust

Hey guys finally got all my exhaust parts replaced that were damaged so question is what silicone do i put inbetween flanges. Blueflame said they dont use gaskets due to faces and that its just a silicone.

If you go to Grampian Fasteners in Pitmedden road industrial estate. Last builbing on your left when driving through Pitmedden road industrial estate toward the caravan park/end of the run way.
They sell high temp gasketing compound, this would be as good as it gets.

Woulent use sealant or gasket compound on an exhaust, id rather use a smear of exhaust paste, if you over do the exhaust paste then it is likely to crack but used a nice even smear round both flanges, tighten and problem solved.
