Fitting power cable?

Hi,
I've done a search but found nothing. Does anyone know where to run a power cable into the car from the engine bay? Also if anyone has a pic it would be handy. I'm fitting a mates subs tonight in his GTi.

on the right hand sideof the buk head, theres a thick lump of wires (nopt cables) looks like theyre all taped together with black tape, they go thru a rubber grommet... make a bigger hole in the grommet and put em thru there... comes out in the passenger footwell

on my GTI i found that there was an "empty" gromit, if u look directly ahead of the battery there should be a rubber mount, i pushed mines outwards from inside just under the glove box, but u will need to pull back the carpet a bit to get to it popped out in no time with a screwdriver.

then just ran the cables under the door seals/clips..easy, only took me and a friend one hour max
