Oh really?? Do you mind finding the link for either JR or Green Cotton. I had a look the other day when you suggested it earlier in this thread but couldnt seem to find the right one on their website. Would be greatly appreciated.

Had a quick look through your thread and saw that u had one from Halfords to begin with but then couldnt fit the page relating to your green cotton filter.

I ran a Halfords Universal cone filter on my Mk4 Cupra for over two years and it did the job, a TIP helps with DV sound because it tends to echo a little IMO.

Just run the biggest cone you can possibly fit.... Within the realms of sensible, obviously

I ran one for a few months too ( I was the one that first started using them!!) but I was concerned about there filtrtion properties, thats why I changed to Green Cotton..

The filtration on the halfords ones are poor. I was advised by one of their guys that they should never be used on a turbocharged car!
