TBH i like the pipes of the AM and Jabba. Not keen on keeping std cooling pipes.

But the Forge is direct fit. From wot i've heard the jabba aint. Is the AM?

I know the Laguna obviously isn't therefore not being an option for myself.

I thought the reason they sit offset is due to not the space?? But as you cut the car i don't understand. Why doesn't it fit central?

AM you need to slightly modify your RAD (bracket to move back slightly as the AM ic is thick)

slight bumper modificatons needed also but this is required on them all

this also prevents you putting your engine cover on as the pipes are in the way

I think u could fit the LCR engine cover tho as i like mine.

Yeah sorry.

Do you keep the standard ones with the forge and laguna, then custom ones for the AM and Jabba?

dont know about laguna and jabba, i know forge uses stardard chage pipe, and AM dont, think laguna might also, not a clue about the jabba

re std charge pipe... I ran this originally when IHI'd @ 320bhp. It was'nt restrictive at that power level on stock SMIC or Forge SMIC after that.

(too small a cooler obviously)

I'm confused!!!!

So you ran 320bhp on std smic??? Then went uprated SMIC????

lol i missed out 'mean' what do you mean keep the standard cooling pipes

ahh i see now, i gotta admit i quite like the boost pipe over the top of the engine, though it doesnt bother me really

on stock turbo i just cant see that being restrictive

Well i plan on getting BT one day and if i have to upgrade something i already have upgraded to get BT that will annoy me!!

Every little helps surely!

also i know its quite unsubstantial but how heavy is the replacement pipe you get with the A&M kit? the stock boost pipe over the engine bay is very light

light as f@@k matey, just as light if not lighter than the oe charge pipe

Also you have to think the length i reckon of the AM one might be longer than the standard pipework, which would increase p-loss.

Yes I did originally. Stock SMIC the nonto Forge SMIC (marginally better, but given their FMIC is available these days, I would'nt bother SMIC), then Charge Cooler, then AM small core FMIC, then AM large core FMIC.

no...
length did not increase pressure loss. Some more volume to fill, but TT/LCR's dont suffer lag with same style/length pipework do they.

Not a factor at all. Fine.
