fog light help

hi every one, after some help, got a 2005 Leon FR, have had the drivers side fog smashed out ( bloody chavs) so i am looking for some kind person to point me in the right direction of either the correct part number or some where i can get hold of one.. i think that the part number is 1m0941 700C can any one tell me the difference of that and part number 1m0941 700a as i have been given one to try but with work and dark nights havent had a chance to check them out yet

Have you got the Cupra or Cupra R front bumper? I have a set of cupra fog lights for sale if interested?

it's just the regular FR/ Cupra front end.. not the Cupra R Bumper, every where i ask says that they need my chassie/ vin to check whats installed.. they say it's because on the FR there is two different types that can be used and thats not including the very late 2005/2006 ones that had the Cupra R body kit on it, feels like i am going round and round.. i think the part number i need is the "1m0941 700C " one but i am still waiting for the weekend to pull the orginal one out and confirm everything. any way you might be able to check the part number on yours at all ?

Im at uni at the moment but will be home for the weekend from friday so will check then. they are out of the car so i hope it should be printed on the front. As far as i know, they are the same part used in all the cupra & prefacelift bumpers. Its only the Cupra R fogs that are different.

Guys I know i'm a beeza boy but a friend of mine has a mk1 leon 2005 fr and needs new front fogs anyone have an idea of source and part number please.

I think it's 1M0941701A Left, 1M0941702A Right on a facelift Cupra

Yeah i'm guessing that theyre all the same, just i seen 2 different part numbers... either way I'll take a look see.

yeh they are different shapes. Ive got the Cupra and I managed to pick up some Cupra R fogs with grilles for upcoming kit for £80 which i was well impressed with.

same here.. but i am loathed to spend the cash on ebay for ones that may or may not fit..have borrowed a drivers side fog light, its the same as you see on just about every ebay or auto trader page on the internet, however... i did find this

ok so after a lot of messing around yesterday, got the grill off the front of the car and removed the light.. guess what ? Part number 1m0941 700a & 1m0941 700C are actually the same thing !
Only difference is a slight change in plastic casing and a little bit of plastic that sticks out to help locate and secure the light to the bumper. light only looks different as the plastic around it makes it look slightly smaller! took 5 minutes to swap it out.. now the car looks perfect again thanks for all the surgestions
