not as yet .no i did ask what changes they made but as per usual they had no idea its just a large update they said they had been waiting for.

Bollocks! I have a similar condition. Getting software updated next Tuesday. Hope mine won’t behave like that!

I had mine updated on Tuesday, and went into the car on Thursday morning and as soon as I pressed the start button had a speaker pop and has done it a few times since, always as soon as press the start button, exactly the same as when I was on the old 1804 software.

Does it not happen whenever the cars’ e-sim loses signal? It always coincides with the globe/signal icon disappearing for me, and repeatedly at the same locations.

Dunno. Always seems to do it just on pushing the start button when I get in the car, but not all the time. Never had it pop while actually been driving.

Another niggle never happened before the update as soon as select reverse the camera comes on and flickers a few times never seen it until this update.
only brief maybe a second or 2 nothing major as anyone else had this.

Mine is in today because the dash kept lighting up like a christmas tree.

error - front assist unavailable
error - lane assist unavailable
error - park assist unavailable
error - park distance control
error - tyre pressure loss indicator
error - electronic parking brake - please take to workshop
error - dynamic road sign display
error - auto hold
error - stability control ( ESC )

Currently on 1804 - guessing they will put 1896 on it as a first attempt to fix it.

Just found on other forum, for cars with 1672 SW TPI 2066692/1 was released to update to 1896. Would be great if anyone could verify......hard to believe

MMMM not had this one before ,,,,,tyre pressure warning light popped on ,pulled over all looked ok drove home slowly .
checked with digital gauge every tyre exactly the same psi all perfect ....maybe another gremlin ???
anyone had this other than Deano ?

Happened to me once during winter, checked each wheel as you without any drop in pressure whatsoever, haven’t seen it since then so I assume it to be an intermittent issue. Had the car since new (7 months), only happened one time so far.

Nope - still fighting with it.
It won't accept the 1896 firmware - keeps crashing part way through.

Low battery?

I stupidly disconnected the battery for 15 minutes to try and clear an error message I'd caused (long embarrassing story I'm not getting in to) and when I connected the battery back up I had exactly the same error messages. I do have to confess to panicking somewhat, but after a short drive it sorted itself out. So some sort of battery issue could make sense, but surely they would have thought of and checked for that.

Sorry to hear of the problems you're having Deano.

One of the first couple of things they suggested was to disconnect the battery for a few hours.
Then after re-connection - go for a drive to re-sync everything.
Then do an infotainment reset.

Non of the above sorted the errors - they all came back up.

New version of Infotainment, requires more clicking through options, than previous one. To switch off assitance annoyances, you have to click Car and then Smart Assitants. Only then, there's set of tiles with different functions and you have to scroll to the right. Previously, it was on the main screen, after clicking Car icon.

I don't see quick way to switching off all gadgets.

Can anyone answer when you update from 1672 to 1896, does it change the display from the 'text' type display to the more visually appealing graphic display as shown above?

Many thanks for that. You have been kind enough to provide the latest TPI. Should SEAT find that without any issues for my vehicle with 1672? Or am I likely to need to quote anything to get them to carry out the update to 1896 next week?
