Yes, thats the right downpipe and cat.

FMIC wise I would recommend getting the standard Seat Sport one that comes as standard on the Cupra. Its bigger and better then the Forge item :) Have a search on here for Seat Sport intercooler.

Is the intercooler system essential right now before doing the other mods and then the remap?

Intercooler price of around £350... sound correct?!

This is turning into a project!!:D

Not essential yet but make sure you get one befor you get it mapped.

I'm sure you can get the Seat Sport intercooler for circa £200 but you need to add the Forge piping for it so circa £350 dounds about right.

If you speak to Sere they do good prices on the FMIC, then to Forge for hoses. I think mine came in around £400 for the lot, just put it on over the weekend.

Can I just say,
If you've got all those mods on the car it must have been mapped.
If so you need to find someone that will Dyno it and tell you if it has or hasn't.

I cant imagine someone modifying it that far and not mapping it.

Lolz
Good point CJ, there's a good bit of money's worth there.

It was not the OP (dommo7) who said he had all the mods, it was jamest87 in past #7.

The OP is still standard by all accounts.

Oops my bad...

OP, if you want some ideas, mine is an FR150, have a look in my progress thread if you like :)

my car didnt come with these mods ive got the car standard and im just working my way through it.lol

i was told it was best to get the mods first the get it mapped so all im waiting for is to sort out the handling and the breaking then decide where to go for the map..:):)

Ok, can anyone point me in the direction of a good site to get the sport intercooler (for a decent price), having trouble finding one.. Also, how hard is it to fit the intercooler?
I have compiled a list of what I think I need over the next few months.. Let me know if you think this is about right...
Intake pipe - £110
Hi flow sports cat - £360
Forge piston closd divertor valve - £90
Sport intercooler - £350
Hi flow panel filter - £30
Total = £940

you are best contacting Sere motors for a good price on the fmic. You will need to order the mounting brackets as well. On top of that youll need the pipework, most ppl get the forge kit for the Seat Sport cooler.
Fitting isnt, do a quick search, there was a thread on this quite recen ty :)

Sere Motors? Thats Ireland isnt it? Will they ship here? Trying to keep the cost fairly decent at the moment!

Really struggling to find a fairly cheapish one, looked on ebay etc, nothing there... might take a gamble on a used intercooler if I can find one..

£250, super stuff! One more question, would I be able to sell the parts I am replacing anywhere? Would there be much point/interest?

Do Forge still do the correct hoses etc so I can fit the intercooler?

OK so that was two questions...

Not much point/interest. Best to just keep them for when you do eventualy sell the car then you can swap them back and sell on the uprated parts.

Yes they do :)

Most people seem to recommend either an open cone filter or uprated airfeed (PD160 scoop), and a cotton/foam panel filter. I've got the PD160 airfeed and Green Cotton panel in mine, seems to work ok :)

Should I bother getting a replacement panel filter? Or get a different kit?
This is a panel filter I found http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PiperCross-Se...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item4397532915

Is this what I should be looking for?

Or maybe a full induction kit, like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PiperCross-Vi...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3ca0eefd3f

Help needed, as I am very very confused!!

Dont get thet induction kit. Its far to expencive and it will be restrictive. Just get a Jetex open cone filter foe 1/4 the price http://www.jetex.co.uk/website/jetexfilters.php
