Just wanting to see if this whole BLT engine being the PD150 is true or just a coincidence in certain FR's making higher than normal BHP standard

So could you please state...

Year :
Engine Code :
Any dyno graph of engine standard

This way we can see roughly when the engine changed and if the above rumour is infact true

Thanks

The BLT is a 130 engine, ASZ with euro 4 modifications. Modded a few BLTs with uprated turbos etc and get the same results as ASZ so don't see it myself. Also cant see them running a PD150 with an SMIC.

My ASZ engined (2004) Fabia VRS made 142.1 BHP on a rolling road this year. I have seen a graph of a standard vRS SE (BLT engine) giving 155 BHP on Awesome's Rolling Road.

so mine is a blt i should expect more than 130 bhp as standard? wierd cos i had a lil dabble with a pd130 polo both with a stg 1 remap and mine was loads quicker!

Depends on the map...

Mine is a BLT, standard and pushing out 152 bhp and 255 lb/ft... pretty good really, wouldn't get much more from a remap lol

car is undergoing hybrid treatment as we speak! there is a problem with the boost - it seems to be peaking way too high at about 3000 rpm then dropping off quick! the turbo seems to be boosting more than the ecu is telling it too! no idea wat the problem is!
