The wipers on my 1999 Toledo are bloody noisy, and I'm wondering if these will be any quieter? What do you guys think? I'd happily spend the cash to cut the noise down!
I ran the wipers earlier int he "pulled up" position to see if it was the motor or the wipers themselves making the noise, and it's definately the wipers. There's a clunk when they're at the top of their stroke, as they flip to go back down the windscreen. Drives me crazy!
Also on wiperblades.co.uk they offer the bosch retro kit for toledos from 2000 onwards, but not for 1999? Did they change the windscreen shape or something? Mine's a mark II.
Could I just check that it's the Bosch AR533S one's that people are getting - wiperblades.co.uk are out of stock at the moment, and the MoT is tomorrow - my blades are cack so it might fail it.
i purchased a set of used Aerowipers for a leon (my car is an ibiza) then custom modify them to fit.
they are fantastic, new arms etc for £50 (including 2 sets of blades)
I got some of these and they look and work fantastic.
Can anyone recommend a good rear replacement, having these on the front is really highlighting the poor performance of the rear wiper.
i ordrered a set , and sold my car , so if anyone wants a brand new set for £15 delivered , pm me , they were also the bosch ones as well of wiperblades.co.uk
