Front Brake Disc size for 2001 Cupra

Can anyone tell me the size the standard front discs on 2001 Cupra? I've searched everywhere but cant find the answer.

Basically I want to know if VW Part 1J0615301D will fit my Leon

mines 01 and i have 312mm front discs standard brembo as well

cheers for the reply. So would brake discs of size 256x22mm fit my leon without me needing to purchase new pads or will the existing ones fit? My discs and pads are currently the stock cupra size

petrol cupras have 312mm..

why would you want 256mm disks? - in any case, that means the outer edge of the disk will be by about 33mm, - enough to mean a fair proportion of the pad misses the disk surface

thanks for the info. Just that I've seen a brake disc of that size going real cheap, but you're right it wouldnt make much sense to get it

lcr brembos are 323mm
lc 312mm
diesel are 288mm

some early cupras. or sport were 288mm

you want 312mm discs. if after oem, try avs.. around 65 quid delivered.

although i got ebc 312mm off the bay for 70 delivered

nope main dealer discs deffo brembo they are stamped on the top edge and deffo 312mm

had same problem with front discs,when ordered was sent 288mm discs.now got the correct ones for the car which are the larger ones at 312mm discs.have been told by local parts dealer that there was a change in 2001 as have got the new pads and they say it could be any of the two that fit the car.

thats a tad worrying. my cars a y-reg, am I to assume that this is an earlier 2001 model and therefore I need the smaller discs? The pads I have are definitely big ones, I know cos I was sent incorrect smaller ones twice by an online retailer

nope 312mm disks on yours same as audi tt fronts.
if leon cupra 233 rear non vented..

leon cupra-r are 323x28 front, and 256mm vented rears

mine was a 2000 1.8 20v turbo sport and was 312mm standard
