Hi does any one know what colour the part of the bumper is behind the number plate above the grill? is it a black or is it just the black plasic of the bumper laquered? Any info would be much appreciated!

im not sure if this area is painted or what, but i have managed to get that FR effect without any painting.
i got a ibiza 1.4 sport, and the area behind the number plate is body coloured. i noticed that this area behind the FR and cupras is black (which makes it look meaner!) so what i did was remove the number plate, and carefully covered this area with black insulating tape. looks great, and 6 months down the line, theirs no sign of peeling.

its not exactly black *but could be but not shiney* but i havent looked at it close in detail tho :\
I painted it mat black in the end, looks good, alot better then the body coloured ones! The bumper fit and paint was WELL worth the cost and effort!!!! it looks better and only cost £200 all in!!!! All i need now is a cupra rear bumper, anyone any idea how much these are?????

The detail behind the numberplate, along the top I believe is unpainted Black plastic? Indeed, it does add extra contrast in the middle of a painted FR/Cupra bumper - more so on lighter colours where the contrast is easier to see - ie: Red or Yellow bumper.

Rear bumper sounds a nice idea - but how far do you go before the car becomes an FR/Cupra "wannabee" ??

But mine is an FR! Pre facelift one though!
its because of the shine on that side mate..lol i took it off for the car show made it look alot meaner lol
off that website you posted aimez. the ebay seller, found that leon fogs fit as well so there costing £31 each. It came painted and the match is spot on, I just painted the back black and the badge. Looks mint I must say, waiting on my plate holder coming, new plate and obviously the fogs and a splitter and its done.
