I got my FR facelift one off Ebay for £40, Cant find the seller now but he was sellin 3! Oh and for all who are doin this upgarade, the new shape leon fogs are the exact same ones!!!!! Theres a few goin cheap on teebay at the mo!!!

cool finally some cheap fogs then glad they fitted in the end Guinness looks brilliant.
I thought most people had decided that them bumpers were pre facelift when i posted up that link a few weeks ago but obviously not then.

no, we said they where facelift, not cupra bumpers. The advert says they are cupra bumpers and when you posted it you posted them as cupra bumpers.

no i wanted facelift ones not cupra, my car cant have the cupra bumper cos of the SMIC. This is good news, I may get one at some point but i still don't have my car back yet to put it on.

its honestly like Im talking french the advert on ebay is selling facelift bumpers, even though they are listed as cupra bumpers. They are not cupra bumpers they are facelift bumpers.

Does anyone have a good way of getting the FR/Cupra effect on the front bumber on a standard facelift bumber?

Guinness I know what you mean thats why i just said good news I may get one! I was explaining to jay.ing as he was saying why don't i ask for a cupra bumper.
This has all turned out for the good as i thought they were cupra bumper but they are actaully the bumper i would want.

lol don't matter, you have been well helpful by buying that bumper and the fogs saving au all alot of money instead of buying from the dealer. Where you getting the rear bumper ebay again?
You will have to take new pics now you have done these mods!

rear bumper is on the back burner for another month, will be getting it from ebay.

Just relised I need to do my brakes disks and pads all round. Need a bracket for holding the ECU in (clip broke), MAF sensor clip (thats broke too) and tax its not going to leave much for the bumper this pay. Also got a RR day to go to as well lol

i fitted my facelift bumper and i hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

might try and flog it, undecided yet!

the colour match is pretty crap so would need doing again, just don't know if i can A) afford it, or B) be arsed with doing it!

why did you hate it, is it just the colour match? I am worrying about that actually, if the bumpers are new then the paint on the rest of the car will look faded in comparison

the colour don't help, but it looks really elongated at the front which is ace, but makes the back look short, need an fr rear bumper too IMO, argh!!

your proboably right need both FFS! oh well all in the pipeline ATM can't decide whether to get bumpers first or refurb wheels all so expensive!
