I'm just about to service my Cupra Tdi, and wonder is there anything specific to take note of when chaning the fuel filter on a Tdi? e.g I'm assuming you can get air in the system?

cars done 48k and not had one replaced as far as I can tell.
thanks Gemma

When I did my 130 tdi sport it was easy.

Remove pipes from filter.

Take out old filter (careful not to beak the retaining clips)

Make sure new filter drain is tight.

Fill new filter with diesel

Attach pipes to filter.

Crank engine till it starts & runs.

Thanks for the reply, I'm actually scared to get air into the system, as no idea how you get it out :s so think I may leave the filter on this service.

Ah that would make sense.. oh if i can borrow a can then to fill with diesel to put in the new filter, I will give it a bash then. Thank you for your help. Really appreciated
