I think you hit the jackpoint with that spec.

Enjoy the sleepless nights until you get it. I am just recoving from them.

The car is awesome though. I just want to drive and drive it. Costs money though to go on mindless jaunts.

Did you manage any discount or did they give you a good price for your p/x instead?

Really not sure how good a deal it was to be honest.
8k for old cupra (04) and 12k in cash, to be hones he said it will be a 8-12 week waiting time, so that sort of made my mind up lol.

Is that a good or bad price, i think its ok, i was thinking about paying 11k as standard, but at the end of the day its done and im happy :funk:

You havn't given exact figures however as they are not allowed to discount the cupra at all, you got a fair price (I think) for the TDI a I'm sure it has a fair few miles on it!!

yes it had rolled up 61000. yes i know what you mean, wouldn't have a clue if it was good as they just adjust the trade in price of the old cupra

Did you get a test drive?

Firstly, the Mk2 drives miles better than the Mk1. Secondly, the cupra feels like a higher class of car than any other Mk2.

The engine, brakes and seats are just superb. I have never raved or enjoyed a car so much before. I loved my Mk1 Cupra petrol when I got it as it was a huge upgrade from my Peugeot 206 xsi but this just awesome.

I havn't built this up too much, have I?

lol i dont think you have built it up enough lol
Yes i had a test drive for about 4 hrs lol very good service in cheltenham.
I was first shocked by the brakes, it took some getting used too, almost went through the windscreen the first time i used them (leaving the seat garage) lol
hard acceleration was great and all in a straight line, gears really smooth, in and out with no problems.
Really grips the road too, pushed it hard around corners with acceleration.

Much better than the honda type r gt (tested it on Monday) the one i drove had a real problem getting into 5th gear

Hey BRISTOL MAN, was it pete you dealt with? we found him very helpful, got our candy cupra from him, loads of info, brilliant test drive (sign here, see you later), agreed point on the brakes (they're gonna catch some people behind you out, I found myself having to pull away from the person behind me just to slow down!) That bloke deserves every sale he gets, top chap.

Lets hope the aftersales and service are up to the same high standards.

thats reassuring to hear good things about the service. Maybe they'll read this and take extra special super care of our new babies!

We got it from full to just under 1/4 in just over 3 hours on the M5:whistle:
