Okay, thought this was in the gear box so a box out job, but after reading your engine build I'm not going to argue with you!!

Nice build by the way, you probably saved yourself £4,000 there

On 4WD gearboxes the slave cylinder is indeed inside the bell housing. On 2WD gearboxes, the slave is on the outside. So in your case it is a cheap and simple fix.
