Right after a 6mile walk this morning to help with the exercise of sitting in doors I have "isolated" in the workshop one more lol.. 2 hours later and that about half the floor cleaned off

Got some little corners and bits to dig out then. On to the other side.. the mess is every where lol but ever little off all helps

About 3/4s of the sealer is off. And most of the tight cracks and corners scrapped out too. Will try to get over tomorrow after work to finish it.
Also am toying with the idea of making moulds of the rear door skins when I have painted them so in the future I can just make a new fibreglass/carbonfibre door skin instead of bonding on the pod bit the smoothing it in

Right sorry for the lack of updates. But there is a good reason for that... not a lot has happened..
Hopefully tomorrow I will finish removing all the sealer and get on to priming the shell archer and underside of the car.
Been on the phone to Compbrake and have ordered the new style pedal box with remote resivour and bias adjustable brakes.
Klint who owns Compbrake really could not be more helpful. We ran threw every thing I want and need and my set up and then came up with a custom package at let's say a very reasonable price.
With the brake set up I am going to run he said he would like to make the caliper mounts and the disk bells and surply the bobins for the disk fitting. Again with the price he said I can't say no to it.. there is a company who makes all the bits but Compbrake are going to design and make a custom set up lower the caliper down and round lowering the canter of gravity. Yeah I know it's like 5 or 6kg only but if I reengineer every thing I can to reduce weight or lower the night of the weight it will decrease the canter of gravity thus helping handling.
More pics of shiney bits when they turn up boys and girls.

Don't need them bits.... it's just added weight lol.

Well it's about 95% stripped of sealer. I can't get to any more bits. Now need good wipe down and clean be for I primer the wheel arches and underfloor

Been building the pedal box. Had to cut down the 2 ap master cylinder. 1 is a .700 diameter and the other is .625. For the brakes. The .7 is going to be plumbed in for the front and .625 for the rear. The clutch has a compbrake cylinder of .7.

The whole build quality looks good and strong. Can't wait to start putting all the shiney bits in to the car

Yeah I am. If you look in the back ground there is a red knob thing. That's the adjuster. It mounts on the adjusterable threaded bar to the right hand side of the brake pedal . I will put up pics tomorrow that fitted

Went to circut supplies in leighton buzzards to pick up the new ap9660 calipers. Cost £1370. They are lovely. I now have to send a caliper, hub and disk off to Compbrake to to get some bells and caliper brackets made.

Got to star designing the brake system and all fixing and pipes for the system. Next is to do the rear set up.
Going to be twin caliper set up 1 caliper is going to be a Porsche 4 pot caliper connected to the foot brake and the other is going to be a LCR caliper only working the hand brake set up.
