What do you have in right now???

o right well im pretty certain im not getting that noise then

good point think ill leave it for the now haha

Right now I've got a THS Performance TIP, it's just like the old Forge/Autobahn88/Samco designs that everyone was using until these new 76/80mm items started appearing, tapers gently towards the end. As far as I know my 008 just has a stock green spring, I know the 007 definitely does.

yeh im guessing it wil , my 007 had a green , then when the 008 arrived it had a green in it but of course you get the yellow, blue and the spacers with the forge 008 ....... (as well a nice keyring :p) so i switched over to the yellow

Oi, less of the old, thanksverymuch :)

To be honest I had to spend a lot of cash just keeping the car running this year and last - in hindsight I should probably just have got rid of it but it's done now, only thing is its' meant I've had no spare cash for shiny bits. If the f**ker will stop eating MAFs, turbos, lambda sensors and thermostats long enough then I'll get a B5 v.2 TIP and get it mapped over winter in time for next spring :)

THS performance Mounts ordering soon as well as the Liquid guage(w/ Pod) when its in stock @ awesome GTI

depending what i decide Intercooler may be bought to fit while my alloys are getting powdercoated but will have to see how much cash ill have.

Right Well Big spends have happened leaving me broke for a while... anyway as mentioned above THS Mount set was ordered and are now sitting at home waiting to go on (however i have no fecking clue what to do so may get a garge to fit them).

Along with them the Liquid Gauge has also been ordered and bought , awaiting the 1-2 week wait period on this getting made and sent out so will be a little longer before i see that.

Also.. my Milltek backbox's Tip fell off....:|... anyway i wanted something new and shiny and i didnt really like the look of the milltek with the oval with 2 mini circles inside etc , anyway... decided to order the 3" Cobra System , Highflow Cat , 6x4 Oval tip (No baffles) Resonated .

so 3 Big spends in the last week so hopefully i can get this all fitted when i get everything together!

Nice update mate, although yeah I can see it is going to hurt this month money wise. I really like the cobra exhaust, think you have made a good decision there. Keep us updated on how you get on :)

yup pretty big spend haha XD , i said i was going to drag it out so i wouldnt have these big buys all at once :p haha

i do like the look from the back from this exhaust so much better than the miltek only reason i was going down the miltek route was because the cat-back was already on the car when i got it

anyway will keep ya updated as soon as i get some bits fitted and part arrive!

Do you know there is 2 versions of the Milltek LCR system?

Mine is the newer one and is a 6x4 oval similar to what Cobra designed afterwards..

The old Milltek is a letter-box style and has twin pipes inside, which I agree does look a bit pants!

i did not no that no :S , anyway these seems a better option for me since im tight for cash , and since the milltek obv better but for £860 odd + for the DP + highflow cat! crazy money haha

Yeah it's not cheap sadly mate.

The Cobra looks a decent bit of kit though mate, let us know how you get on with it :)

That's more like it :)

Exhaust looks sweet dude. When you fitting it all?

:p , all should get fitted sunday , mounts and exhaust :funk:

only thing that missing is a gasket for the downpipe to manifold connection, im guessing a new one from seat would work as the downpipe has to fit to the manifold??

Sorry no pics or Vids :S but exhaust and mounts all fitted , will try get some vids or picstures later in the week , was so rushed on sunday getting everything fitted was such a ball ache! however very pleased with the exahust ...... however lol ... my car seems to vibrate a bit now , not sure what this could be from? its fine just cruising but seems to be when i get the power going it feels pretty shaky , was thinking this may because of the mounts ? as the stronger rubber etc is not taking out the vibrations from the engine/gearbox and going through the car more???

however a + on the mounts the dogbone seems to have improved the handling so much , just seems to hold really well going round corners at the same speeds as i would before

also another + , Replacing the MAF came back with no more fault codes and a nice reading off 213 g/s = into bhp is 266  so fairly surprised with that figure... did check after afew days of the Maf being on and was getting 255-258 in the BHP reading so still chuffed :)

just wondering anyway to check if the car has been re-mapped?? seems quite high bhp (not that im complaining) for just the bits ive added?
