Graeme's LCR - Now Sold *wave*

Plans for March-April

Rear Discs and Pads (just getting standard ones as i need new ones, and there only back brakes)
Alloys Powder Coated
Front and Rear Bumpers Re-Sprayed (hopefully get them away same time as alloys, however i might push this back)
Brembos and rear calipers refurbed
A full service

and not sure what to do either coilovers , or AMD FMIC + Stage2 , but prob more aiming toward coilovers as would like to get the car looking good considering most the other mods are to do with that for the upcoming months!
 
AmD fmic is a few weeks away I think I read on the thread but not far off..

Coilovers are brilliant on these cars, decent one's. AP's, Weitec's or KW's depending on budget at the time.

I bought AP's way over a year ago and they have been spot on since they were fitted.

On the rear brakes, standard replacement like for like, pagid is fine. It's upfront where you want to buy decent.

yeh did read that so will prob get june time when im guessing some ppl will have tested them a bit , would prob be getting it anyway but this gives me a reason to sprouse up the car :p

yeh i know nothing of suspension ... im thinking Weitec GT's seems to be a good price and was recommended but will see nearer the time, limit is about £500 on them so there about that :lol:

yup thats my plans , before i bought the car the front disc and pads were done so no need to touch them yet when there starting to wear down etc and looking a bit old ill get some grooved and better pads etc (however not looking in to that till i need to :p)

didnt really get a good feel for it today , working on it from 9-5 :S lol , so got it home washed and everything ready for a trip to crail tomorrow , so will get a good feel for it tomorrow :funk:

does feel much better tho the short time i went out in it , so good ! , however while doing the work , spotted a rear spring broken :/ so will need to get new rear one

well after the awesome day yesterday down at crail i can say im very pleased with the bushes / roll bars , feels 100% better , but then again most of mine were pretty fooked lol , but still can really feel it better just a lot tighter and im getting none or very low roll when going round any corner really , think i may need to get some gripier tyres to really test it out.
another bonus after fitting all of this, the comfort didnt change at all , if anything it was better which is really good.


anyway as for my times i got faster this time which i was glad haha.

last time i went fastest time was - 14.9 @ 95mph (which was stage1 + forge 007p + cat back exhaust)

this time with mainly just bolt ons ready for stage 2 i got - 14.6 @100.2mph

however im 100% positive i could get a better time as i cant start for **** :/ think i need launch control :lol: , as even 1.3's(non turbo) were getting off the line before me :S lol

Not much off a update however few things coming soon/getting fitted soon

NGK spark plugs
Red Cap Coilpacks
Cold air feed(still not sure what i will do)
AmD FMIC (Red Pipe work, Red AmD Logo)
New Thermostat and sensor
Super Bright H3 Fog bulbs to match hids (hopefully) will get done when FMIC arrives
white bright rear number plate bulbs

(all the above is either at home or on its way :))

Checking a place on friday to see about alloys getting powdercoated :) as well as seeing how much front bumper to re-spray will be

hopefully all the above can get fitted and ticked off my ever growing to do list!!
