As mentioned above in the thread the headlamps pop out of the bumper due to the pressure of water. They sit in the front bumper under little squares in front of the headlamps and only pop out when you hold the windscreen washers for 2 seconds when dipped or main beams are on.
When i first bought the car i couldn't work out why they wouldn't work, because i viewed it in the daytime didnt think of leaving the lights on.
They do look pretty cool though, when they pop out they only stay out for literally a fraction of a second..

When i first bought the car i didn't think they worked but found out later that they only pop out after 2 seconds of holding down the windscreen washers when you have either dipped or main beams on.
They look pretty funky, when they pop out they only stay out for literally a fraction of a second but blast a huge amount of water.

I was thinking Golf 4 washers

Ive had some LEON ones before... they first versions did have this as an option.

Our MOT here has also come up with that washer story...

leons with washers do exist, but afaik xenons were not an official option

i wish i had some, it's amazing how much muck can cover the lights in slushy conditions :(
