Headlamp Bulb advise please

Yep - only in the dipped - H7.

I've got Osram nightbreakers in the headlights, look dull and yellow next to my 6000k HID's, plus I find I don't need the full as much coz the dipped is so much better

Excatly what I'm running and I find it a great set up

So i will probably get HId kit
Ive seen some with normal ballast and some with slim ballast and a starter which one is the best?
anybody recommend on which one to buy didn't really want to spend more than £50

my hid's were 38 quid with free p&p off the bay. had them for 3 months now and i cant fault them. they are so much better than oem and only took half hour to fit.

there are really no down sides to hid's

1. Did you just fit the H7 Xenon bulb in place like a H7 halogen, together with small metal "cup" which covers the dipped beam H7 halogen bulb, or modified the inside of the headlamp (lens, supports etc)?

2. There were some rumors a HID lamp on an ordinary headlamp reflector wotuld over heat the reflector and peel off the silver reflective layer, is that anything true?
