help!! cant get my old aerial off!!

I bought the c2 aerial today for £3 but cant get my old aerial off!! any help?

Unscrew it, hold the base and pull the aerial bloody hard

after unscrewing it of course, pull from the base of the aerial tho...

I had the same issue when I changed mine for the C2. The roof flexes quite a bit too!
Also I don't get the same strength signal any more, but it looks better and I don't listen to the radio much.

the designer who made the aerial so huge needs to be shot. i think 90% of the leon owners on here have changed theres for something smaller

i never listen to the radio... and the 2m wire coming off the roof was stoopid...

C2 one on now, happy as larry! Looks much better, not that anyone noticed apart from my manager...

cant you have some kind of booster to help ??

mines ppor reception with the OEM ariel still on

because im running hids and aint got round to sorting it

yeah the boosters are on ebay mate, i bought one and need to install it properly when i get chance.

I'm going to buy a booster off eBay.

Will I need ISO to ISO, or, DIN to DIN?

Its standard Aerial to my Alpine iDA-X305.... if it helps the standard aerial currently plugs straight into my Alpine H/U

You want one of these, but I have found it hard to get the blue wire in to the ISO connector, near on immpossible to not damage it, which is why I need to reinstall it properly....
