i can just picture that, would be so funny! will you have a special place to store the broken MAF's? that then boxes them up and mails them to a parts place for swap?lol
 
Not trying to hijack the thread but mine seems sluggish recently. Was ok at first after I disconnected the battery when I cleaned my dynatwist, it was like a rocket for a week or so then gradually seems to have got slower. Car still under warranty so will I still get away with unplugging it to see if it goes better like fahafiz's. Also Dave, you think i'll get it changed on warranty if i've got induction kit on? and does it sound like maf is knacked?

yeh a symptom of MAF failure is decrease in speed...
Dealers sell a MAF for just under £70... and u dont need to exhange old one too
 
:cry: Ok cheers, will have to get it checked out properly with vagcom before I try and claim it on warranty. Means putting air box back on though
