its all wired up correctly apart from the earth wire, where is the best place to put the earth? the amp will not work because of this, theres no green light, anyone have any idea??

disconnect the battery before connecting the earth as it sounds that you have reconnected it at this point?

Under the passenger side parcel shelf support there is a factory ground bolt. That one will do the job perfectly.
so you have to disconnect the battery completly before you attach it to anything?
because i didnt disconnect the battery at any stage???

I've replied to your other post, if you didn't disconnect the battery and have had wires lying around - you might also want to check your fuse!
i'd always reccommend disconection of the battery when doing anything electrical!
a small power surge could pop an electrical circuit easily!
ive tried the amp in my mates car and its working fine, must be a dodgy wire sumwhere??? hes got his earthed in a rear light?????
I lifted up the boot carpet and there was a bolt there...I think, been so long since I have done it
On the left hand side wall of the boot, i found a grounding bolt under the carpet. thats where i did mine.
I grounded mines to the base of the rear seat belt, loosen the bolt,slide ground wire under then tighten back up. easy
