Hi, I'm trying to change my old Omp strut brace with a new Seat Sport one and I was wondering if anybody can tell me what kind of tool you have used to unscrew the bolts. I'm having a hard time because of the lack of room to move around and fit tools in there!
Can you please give me some advice?

Thanks!

Actually, as I found out after two trips to B&Q, they're 13mm bolts.

The thing is though, I managed to unscrew 5 out of 6, the sixth is in such a position that I would need a sort of extension or "arm" for the ratchet, because its fat head doesn't fit in any way that could let me have enough leverage to unscrew it.
They don't sell any such thing at B&Q, does anybody know of any specialised stores where I could go?

you will need an extender normally socket sets come with them as the back one would be a pain if its too tight

just try a local little tool store iam sure they will have what your looking for or you could go to halfords and buy there well overpriced tools in there

Extender! Thank you! :D

Sometimes English not being my first language is a pain in the a$$. Especially when it comes to mechanical parts and stuff like that.

Thanks for the info. :)
I can assure you Halfords won't be seeing me for a looooong time after what their paints have done to my plastics.

Well, you know what they say: once bitten... :headhurt:

I found the extender this morning at a local store, so I'll give the last bolt a good try today, if it doesn't start raining on me. Otherwise I'll wait until tomorrow.

Thanks to everybody for the help. :)
