Help with choosing an Air Filter

Hey guys,

Was wanting to buy an air filter for my car.

Don't know if this is the correct one (or the best one)

My car is the Ibiza 1.4 Sportrider 58 plate model..

Hey Tom. Mind if i ask what bhp is your car? Seat produced a range of different 1.4 engines which used different air filter depending on its bhp.

Your safest bet would be to compare your current standard air filter against the following K&N filters to find the right one (http://www.knfilters.com/search/appsearch.aspx). I had the same trouble when it came to finding the right filter for my car.

Once you find the right filter, have a check on e-bay as I saved quite a bit purchasing mine from a seller on there.

Hey, thanks for getting at me. SEAT say it's the 100BHP model but it's actually 98 lol

They note it down in PS which is a slightly greater value than BHP but not a lot.

Great stuff, for the 100ps (98 bhp) you should be looking for the K&N filter product number 33 2221 so the one shown in the link you posted will not fit as its for the 85bhp engine.

Type the product number your looking for into ebay and you should come up with a range of k&n filter suitable for your car.
