Help with fault codes

Hey guys,
After using vagcom and some very good advise from a few of you, my lcr is back to life with its new coilpack, got 3 more on order to change them all!
My question is now that the car is repaired, i have scanned on vagcom and selected the clear faults button, but when i rescan, all of the origonal faults show up even though the car is fine.
How do i clear these?

I would have thought if you clear and then scan on another occasion the faults are still there, prob wrong though

well the faults are missfire on cylinder 2, (coilpack) and then open circuit on cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4 when i was checking to see which was cylinder 2 and if that was indeed the faulty item. This has all been rectified now though and the car seems fine

Just to be clear when you press clear codes they disappear, but when you retest on another day they are there again.

when i press clear they disappear. When i disconnect, turn the ignition off and on and scan again, they are still there??!

Ahh i dot know i have never had that, i have a fault with my acceleration sensor and that wont clear at all. the only thing i can suggest is to disconnect the battery for about an hour and try again.
