Der... looking at that screen again in post 1, the bottom bar is the phone and the bit above is the proximity charger thingy (the connectivity box). Clue is the screen talking about the phone. Means take your phone. Mib2 gives you an indication to remove your phone as well. Think that's the Mib3 version of that. Mib2 it's the phone screen with a picture not an icon.

Experiment by getting in the car without the phone and back out. Then repeat with the phone. Senses the phone off the Bluetooth.

Any better ideas.

It is Seat thou... technical authors left it out. There are other things covered in the manual that aren't in the unit. Radio logo import and map import offline. Like old fashioned computing they have technical authors that document the program but the program is written to a different spec and the two don't hang together. Obviously it should be QAed by somebody else to check the text follows the way the software works. If that's not done you put out materiel that isn't correct.

Your icon I believe is per my post 23. Try it out and report back. Just warning you not to leave your phone in the car when you get out. That's my interpretation. I don't have the car.

hi
thank you for your replies. i appreciate it very much. i’ve tried to enter the car with and without the phone... nothing changes. when i turn the ignition off without opening the doors i get this screen menu. ticking the icon turning it into orange (default is grey) and when i open the doors this screen dissapears. when turning the car on and off again i am getting the same screen dont forget your phone... strange thing is that even if i tick the icon so it becomes orange.. after ignition and off again it appears without the tick( its grey again). ticking it does absolutely nothing and its not stored in memory as ticked... oh boy what can it be???

update: when i switched the ignition off and got the icon menu, i’ve opened the passenger door and a sub menu appeared display vehicle status. when i press it i see warning like door/ lid open. if i tick the icon which turn orange i cant enter the display vehicle status... its like keypad lock or something... not sure why, if i dont want to see the vehicle status then i just wont press it. so its still unclear what this icon does but at least it does something

There is another mib2 nag screen which is check safelock which you see. Might be a variation on that. You also have safelock as well. Page 102 of the manual attached. Interesting I see they also document the passenger door senser on the Leon 4 Kessy vehicles being turned off over a long duration without use. The 2016 Ateca does that. I know that's a function, first time I've seen that in a manual. On the same page below... why that sensor stops working after a bit and walk round to the drivers side is required.

Toss that out on safelock in case that icon may be something to do with that. The manual tells you the double press to turn the volume sensor off from the outside... it probably just means don't leave pets and kids in the car when you lock it else they can set the alarm. Leon 3 thread on that. Oh yes and they can't get out if you lock them in... Think that's the true meaning of the nag screen. Best not to lock humans in the car either way avoids them panicking. Pets something different.

Throw this in just in case it's something to do with safelock warning but then perhaps you still get that nag screen ?. Might have a bearing if its not a reminder to take your phone with you ;)... sure that icon looks like the phone and cradle though.
