Hi i am kel and live in Swindon! I have a 1999 mk 2 cupra sport 2.0 16v and need to change both rear wheel bearings! I just need some help i.e does anyone know how easy it is to remove the brake calipers and what tools are required? I can see 2 allen key type bolts at the rear of the caliper! are these the correct ones to undo and what size are they as phoned my local dealer and they didnt know!!!!

any advice would be great as the constant noise from the bearings are doing my head in!

thanks kel:lol:

There's no F in Quality..
I think they're 6mm allen bolts, they will allow you to remove the calliper from the carrier, which should then let you remove the disc from the hub.

On the Mk2 Ibiza the rear bearings are inside the rear disc, so you will either need new discs, or to remove the old bearings from the disc and get new ones pressed in.....
