Hid kit for Mk2 Leon

Hi all...i want to get a HID kit for my mk2 leon fr what type of bulbs are they and i want to replace the sidelight bulbs with led ones.I saw soe great ones on youtube but the link on where to buy them was broken.Any ideas?

mate, not far below your thread is another quite long thread discussing HID kits and LED sides. A lot has been written about both so to avoid going over old ground, spend 10 mins to have a browse.

except they're not the CANBUS compatible ones so you'll get the bulb out warning on the dash

Ive got non-canbus HID's from HID's Direct on eBay. Never had a bulb warning.

The Warnings are more commonly caused by the LED sidelights, as they consume less power.

Where as the difference between HID's and Halogens isn't as significant, reducing the chances of the warning light appearing.

That e bay seller hids direct sells another kit for £10 more which says canbus compatible anyone tried this?
