Bad yes, but just wondering if he needs to align the bulbs a bit better
The Corrado does look terrible, but I'm not sure Dave about the blueyness of yours...they both look dazzling (more so on the Corrado) I notice that the website offer a Violet option, which is the one I'd go for as I dispise the bluey tinged ones. My Polo GTi had the Violet coloured Xenons which looked superb, yet were so dull candles would be a better bet. I think you are very brave to order them and fit them yourself, I'm contemplating getting a garage to fit mine when I order sometime in Feb/March. Great comparisons Dave, certainly an inspiration! lol
i believe that the photos show them to be very blue but they arnt that bad looking at them with the naked eye

That price is quite reasonable, I have been quoted over £220 for a single bulb kit for my motorcycle. If you want to be ripped off, get two wheels.

As mentioned further up this page, alot of people have them done correctly as possible, and are million times better than people with lights out, and or legal H.I.Ds not set correctly.
I myself have H.I.D ive been told they are very bright and on the highest level (which I normally have on as drive at 2am etc) but if I drive around during the early evening I drop it a few levels.
Ive been flashed twice, and I believe once was due to me being higher up on a country road!

spot on. The photos were all taken on my phone as it was quick and easy (Sony Ericsson W810i). In real life mine are really really white with a nice tint of blue.
The pics were also taken when the bulbs were still warming up, so even more reason for the "blueness".
Mine are brighter than halogen, as you'd expect, but are definitely not dazzling. I still haven't been flashed by any1.
FR*Man1984- you will find that the higher up the temperature ratings you go, the less lumen's the bulbs give out. e.g. mine are 6000k which are crystal white, the violet/purple bulbs are 12000k, which will give off a hell of a lot less "light".
This is the reason HIDs4U recommend the 5300k GE bulbs, as they are brighter. When people ask for blue bulbs, they could say "get the 8000k" which are a deep blue, but due to the lower lumen's, they recommend the 6000k.
Do i really need to? Even if they're not blinding any1 and the "lines" they project are in the same place as before?

First steps of my new HID conversion!
My HID's have finally arrived, and I am very happy with the service. I put the wrong order in i ordered H4 instead of H7 short. Ok yes so there is a bit of difference there! lol. Anyways me and my dad have really struggled fitting them. Firstly I attacked the side lights, dropped the dust cover and it's now found it's way down right into the hole (drivers side) near the intercooler...silly billy! They've been fitted tho took me about half hour to do both sides. However, fitting the HID's is another story. What a job it is. Started the passenger side, as looked easiest for access. Its taken us both approx 2.5hrs to do the passenger side figgering out what goes where, what was best to do first etc, then it looked like we'd busted the black wiring, luckily it's only the insulation bit thats ripped! Switched ignition on to test after fitting was completed and secured, didn't work. Switched engine on, bulb still didn't work. So dad came up with an idea, "try swopping the two red spade connectors. " This mean't taking the dust cover off the back of the bulb again...nightmare! Swopped them round, and finally the bulb switched on absolutely made up that it works. Doing the drivers side one tomorrow. Nearly gave up half way into it, dad was getting really aggreviated and stressed out, don't blame him. I was there really to stop temper fraying lol.
