Carb cleaner works well on removing that rubber finish!!
Did mine satin black just standard satin spray halfords... Nice finish

Thank you for this guide i will be doing mine at the weekend ive just ot the car and drivers side handle is goosed i was gonna go buy some new ones but from what ive read its hard task getting them! Painting will do the trick!
