How do you take off the headlight covers?

Right i want to install some daytime running lights (audi style) on my leons headlights. But i need to take my headlight covers off (the plastic ones) to open them up, wire the leds, and set them in.. Anyone know to take them off? Help and maybe pics would be apreciated...

Sealed unit - only way would be to try and heat them up gently in an oven then prize the plastic fronts off.
