As above, please put your engine, BHP, tyre manufacturer and typical mileage for changing tyres.

1.9 TDI
160BHP
Pirelli P-Zero.
17K roughly between needing new tyres.

is this good?

Hi,

1.9 TDI
176bhp ish? 314lb/lb
pirelli p-zero.
9k (that includes swapping fronts to back)

Can't belive they have gone so quick but being an estate agent i do alot of driving round estates and accelerating to to mention he fact there are like 500 roundabouts in milton keynes

1.4 16v
75bhp
dunlop sp sport 2000
7k for one pair, swapped backs to fronts and still goin for now :|

cant beleive they lasted such a short time, was literally 1yr from new!

well it does make a big difference because it means pretty much all day 6 days a week i am driving round housing estates wich means alot of stopping and starting and accelerating but mayb thats just me making an excuse tothe fact i have burnt 4 tyres out in 9kmiles lol

erm 241 bhp 275ftlb and my toyos needed mving to the back after about 4k, they still have 5mm left. but used last bit out of my brigestones they lasted for ever!!!! will still get toyos as they are cheap really sticky so wear isnt a prob at 240 a set

1.9tdi asz allard hybrid ;)
changed fronts to backs after 3k, then both fronts and rears were gone at 6k miles

i bought a pair of eagle f1's to replace my dunlops, £127 for 2, fitted, tracked etc, fronts to backs! think the garage made a mistake but i aint complaining!

well i disagree with that the reason i do it is so i buy tyres in 4's rather than 2's so if the company just happen to be doing a good deal on a certain make of tyres at the time i could get all four and if some of us didnt rotate we would be at the tyre place everyother month well i know i would.

i did 16k miles last year, hence needing 3 sets of tires, but then again i never really drove my car slow  it always had a good blast, and so did the brakes ;)

About the same as mine then, lasted 6000 miles for the fronts without swapping them round.

I got 13k out of my Falken FR451s and I thought that was pretty poor, given that I do 40miles a day on A-roads with literally 2 roundabouts.

Don't feel so bad now.

:D

My fronts had 3000 miles under the first owner (its an ex seat company car) and then 3000 miles with me! Would have got more if I rotated.

Thats on 16r/205/45 dunlop SPsport2000's
