how many miles from a set of brake pads?

roughly how many miles have you had from a set of front brake pads before having to replace? preferably on a cupra tdi with the seat sport brakes.

You can see how much meat is left on the pads through the wheels

your pads should see you past the major service @ 40k miles i believe...unless you're constantly heavy breaking

it depends on how you drive, the roads you use. etc etc...

Some people appear to go through pads annually. others get 40-50,000 miles from them.

just had a 40,000 mile service, brakes still ok.

First set at 34k, second set at 70k, third set at 110k.

First and second set were standard, third set were Ferodo DS2500, and they've done 20k so far

Just changed mine at 39K miles with about 1mm left on them.
