Ithink for the likes of the LCR the extra money on Super etc is worth it. It probably works out 0.00000000001 cheaper a mile. Which over the entirety of time makes sound economical sense. But it is more fun on Super/Optimax

I get on average about 29-31 to the gallon on my cupra!! a LOT less if you use it :)

£45 fuel gets me normally about 500 miles.
half and half motorway driving.. but nice constant speeds

I get over 600 every week but that's mainly down to my driving. I think 500 from a PD150 is more realistic if you're looking at one.

Ive got the Leon s and I can get 350 max if I drive like a granny but usually get 300 if am lucky with me putting me foot down on the odd occasion. Dont think that is very good, £45ish per tankful.

Ive got a Leon s and im lucky if i get 350 out of a full tank. Usually only get bout 300 which i think isnt really that good. No mods either, yet.

I get around 320 to a tank full. Pretty much all my driving is on courntry roads doing about 50 - 60 mph (mainly due to other cars). Isn't the 1.8 20v (non turbo) an automatic? That will make it heavier on fuel.

On the motorway or 'sunday driving' the mpg works out to be in the low 30s. However, if driving hard then it drops to about 22-24mpg, if i am stuck in traffic around Guildford then i dont even bother looking!

Can get mid 30's on 'relaxed' motorway cruise.. which then drops to 24-26mpg whilst driving through town, country ;)

50 litres=£45 @ 95.9 will get me about 300 miles and I do a little over that a week.

I aim to get 400 miles out of a tank from my 1.8 20v Toledo, consistantly get about 380 on a 16 mile commute.
