How many Miles per Tank??

just travelled from surrey all the way to northern ireland via stranraer, average mpg 38 well impressed! especially with the road from m6 to stranraer asking for the heavy right foot excuse!

Are you going off your onboard computer or fill up workout? 38 mpg seems very unlikely if you've got a LCR.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but, anything involving LCR + heavy driving wil not equate to that good fuel economy!

hi guys,
new to the site, was hoping someone could tell me how to start a new thead, spent over an hour on the site, looking for the link.
bought a new toledo tdi (52) and there is a clunking noise coming from the nearside front , dealer says its nomal suspension noise, but ithink this must be bollocks, its there all the time , when you go over small bumps or ripples in the road, any help would be greatly appreciated

first you have to go back to the first forum page and choose which section you want to post in.then there will be a new thread loggo in the top left hand corner and away you go.
Im no computer wizzard meself but i hope this helps

I go by the onboard computer and the miles i actually do by the time of next fill-up!

Best i ever got was Corsham-Dover-Corsham-Work-Home (380ish miles) out of a brimmed tank, but did cheat and use cruise most of the way to dover and back set at about 77mph!

Everyday use, generally stump about 30-35 quid for fuel doing appx 40 mile a day. Weekly avg is usually between 29-34mpg.
