how to fit cupra r bumper to cupra

i have just got my cupra r bumper back from being painted and they were ment to fit it aswell but when i got there they said it wouldnt fit due to the sliding brackets on the side or something being different can anyone explain more?

and could someone send me a guide to how to fit it as im going to have a go tommorow on my own thanks

side sliders are same on MY03 (cupra4 style) and the R but are different on the old style bumper

early shape ones are a B suffix

both are held on with 2 nut's n bolts - square plate on outside and a nut inside the wing just below the indicator - squeeze a rathet in from inside the wheel arch to get to em - and i guess you have got the wheel arch liner extension pieces too ?

those are number 2 on the diagram below

and the wheel arch extensions are no 25

1ML 807 479 - LH
1ML 807 480 - RH

and you will need 1A the grille section 1Ml 853 653 A 79Y

with those you can bolt it on and then all you will need are grilles/bolt covers

PS- i know the diagram shows a my03 bumper but its a standard diagram - the above numbers are for the R type bumper only

yea could you give me a part list for both the cupra r front and cupra front if you can please? Also i bought 2 adapters for the cupra rear bumper do i need bumper guides and arch liner extensions too?
