Hoping to try it tomorrow. I ordered some Poorboy's SSR2 (super swirl remover), bold 'n' bright tyre dressing (hate the Megs goopy stuff!) and a couple of Clearkote quick shine. I already have plenty of Megs and Swissol wax etc.

I asked Alex to recommend stuff to me for various tasks.

Sorry if its been asked already but would it be possable to give me a list of the stuff i need to get those finishes i need every think, spounges drying cloths the lot as i have a miss match of crap polishes

all by hand at the mo as i havent got the funds at the mo

i have slight swirl marks to get rid of

thanks all

All depends how far you want to go, whether you want individual products or a quicker all in one.

Apparently Klasse all-in-one is awesome stuff, cleans and removes swirls then polishes and protects the paint with an acrylic wax sealant that lasts 4-8 months! £20 a bottle. I've ordered some from Alex, so I'll tell you what it's like but Alex says it is amazing stuff, also the Klasse sealant glaze is said to offer protection for a year!

"Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze car wax is a companion product to Klasse All-In-One that builds finish depth, gloss and clarity. High Gloss Sealant Glaze is an optional step used by car *********** and show car owners to create award-winning paint finishes.

Containing the pure Klasse acrylic protection formula (no cleaners or polishes), High Gloss Glaze car wax provides protection and finish enhancement over a base coat of Klasse All-In-One. It's like special effects for your car! With each coat the gloss and depth of your paint finish will increase. I know guys that have applied 20 to 40 coats of Klasse High Gloss Glaze, and the results are amazing.
"

Clearkote Quik Shine is an awesome product too, I tried it for the first time on my car and it is amazing stuff!

Can you buy it in any shops? I want the swirls out of my car but im too tight to pay for the polisher as its costing me over 200 to get the bonnet resprayed!

AIO is a good product, but not really enough to move anything but the lightest of swirl marks.
You want a seperate product targeted at removing swirls and minor scratching.
I have AIO on my car and there are a number of swirl marks on it now that weren't there prior to using the PC on it.

I was thinking of using the Scratch X stuff from meguires (spelling?)
I was also considering getting the buffer from them too as i can get it for just under £75

scratch x followed by a decent sealer is a good choice

I thought that may be the case, i have been looking at a few profesional ones on ebay that look good for around £40. What type of speed settings does the PC have?

PC has 6 speed settings. I have seen the ones you are referring too on ebay. But for peace of mind I prefer to get the PC as its known to give good results and safe.
