Not so true from speaking with Benny a while ago. His forge FMIC had higher temps than my pro alloy FMIC. It was found it was not the cooler was fine but the pipe work which was reatricting it fron being efficient.

Don't under estimate the pipework, make sure it's good and not restrictive mate :)

I know that the pipework on the forge is shite, and if I knew everything I know today when I was on the look for a fmic I can tell you for sure that I would have picked another cooler cos of the pipework but hey, we all learning:) But going from a k03s setup to a cr-hybrid doesnt have to cost an arm and leg if I keep the most of the parts (forge fmic, miltek TB) and go from there. In the end I guess you´ll get a car witch surely have more bite than a ko3s does and a car that even the missus can take for a spin or not:)

That's the nail on the head really - if you look at price vs performance gains it's hard to justify twice the price for a Turbo Dynamics unit. That's where I was lucky to get one much cheaper. Otherwise it would have been a much more difficult decision.

My WMI tank is 3.4 litres and lasts just 15 miles on track, or ~30 of fast road use. Awesome stuff though :)

Yeah I think a WMI would be a good supliment for this setup.
How much timing have you got?(cant remember from your thread)

Prebs

I was running 8.25 degrees over winter but I was getting quite a bit of timing pull looking at some logs last month so I've edged it back to 6 for now and will continue to monitor :)

WMI is very well suited (and often overlooked) to these turbo applications where they get so hot when pushed hard

As you can see im my sig I live across the pond so I have to source a place where I can get methanol refill before I purchase this kit. Is it 100% methanol used?

Prebs

If you have any biofuel plants near you they often have plenty available, otherwise it may be a bit tricky to source :s

I run 50:50 pure water/methanol which is as neat as you should run it

EDIT: Just realised you might mean the grade of methanol, in which case yes it should be as pure as possible.
