Ok Weird problem was doing about 3.5k revs in Pedro the other morning when it was like i had removed my foot from the accelerator and immediatly put it back to the floor. However the speed was slowly increasing but the revs were dropping. This was in 5th gear.
I can/could rev it to the red line in all gears 1 - 4 but in 5th gear the var will not now rev over 3k revs, and seems very hesitaint in moving.
Could any one come up with some ideas please? Apart from a small bird wedged into the opening that feeds the intercooler I can not see any issues with pipes.
The car has done 160,000 miles I am praying it isnt the turbo.
