Hey,
Just bought myself a ibiza cupra last night and to be honest didnt really research it very well lol =/
It has these 'R' symbols dotted around the car and i kind of assumed the fella who owned it before had put them on but the seem to be below the laquer?
In my service book on the dealer sticker is this description -
IBIZA 1.8T
CUP-R 132 MQ7C5M
Does this mean that it is a cupra R?
The Reg is SH05 VDK if any one recognises it?

What wheels did it come with? You shoud have 3x R's on the car which are actual badges not stickers... one in front of the gearknob another on the front grill and finally one next to "Cupra" on the bootlid...
Did you get a "R" key fob with it?

Cheers for the reply, They are quite flat so im assumig these will be stickers under the varnish?
There are two either side near the indicators and one on the boot next to cupra badge, there is nothing on grill or gear knob?
Does this mean its safe to assume it is just a basic cupra?
The wheels are black 17" i think off the top of my head they have five twin spokes if that makes sense?
Either way the car is brilliant to drive.
