i was looking on the likes of autotrader to see a rough price for a 2004 tdi cupra and they look to be holding their money really well. the cheapest is 10k, not bad for a car that only cost 15k 3 years ago.

I don't know, I think 10K for one of the quickest diesels your ever likely to get near is very reasonable, Just glad I got mine new:D

PS I't will ge a good step up from your Corsa!, but then so would a milk float:p

True true...

To be honest, I doubt many would sell for that much. Im sure you can get one with 30k ish on for 9k...

Thats what I would probably sell mine for... if it was for sale ;)

Mine has been abused a little :(

I couldnt possibly sell it without telling people what it has been upto in its short life.... or could I ?

Looking at those prices maybe I'd push it upto £10K :D

And as if red is the fastest... dont make me laff!

the corsa is a far better car but i need a derv for economy.

only joking, the corsa has more rattles than a kiddies toy tbh.

i was looking at a 2004 leon cupra r because they are going for a little cheaper than the cupra ibiza tdi but there is just too much of a difference in the fuel economy to justify the saving

Oooooh I don't know, the Cupra R is a big bag of fun, it's just that you get somewhat friendly with your local petrol station attendants.

With regards to the Corsa don't take it to heart only pulling your leg:lol:

LOL

Thats not abuse Mike, thats criminal!

I was gutted when you rolled it... would of been fun to see what it ended up like. Still it lives on in many other Ibiza's around the country!

;)

It doesn't, not unless you start spending the sort of money that Devonmikeyboy spent on his, however you can remap it for £200-£500 and get around 200 BHP.

30ish mpg is a long way off 50 mpg though when your doing 60 miles a day

Thats assuming that you manage to get 50mpg.

If you want 50mpg all of the time you may be better off with an FR/sport TDI, 130 BHP as standard and can be super chipped to about 170, with-out further expensive mods.

The FR/sport are cheaper as a standard car (by a lot) and are a very progressive drive and have been known to upset more powerfull vehicles.
