IBIZA CUPRA TDI - suitable for tall people?

Hello, firstly i'm new to the forum and i just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I am serously considering buying a IBIZA MK4 CUPRA TDI, my problem is my height, i'm around 6ft 4in. My girlfriend has the standard Ibiza 1.9TDI and i find i do have to slouch to drive it.

I have n oticed that the cupra has a vertical seat adjustment lever, does this lever drop the seat lower than the standard 1.9TDI?????????

Is there anyone else out there my height who drives the Ibiza Cupra?????? If so is it a squeeze!!!!

Hi Mate,

I've got a IBIZA MK4 CUPRA TDI and I'm 6ft 4in and on the tubby side, I fit no problem.

Go for it you'll love it.

Im 6ft 3 and i fit in he FR no problem, seat right down and i still have a few notches i could go back if needed. what you may find is your other half's car does not have the hight adjustable seat.

im 6ft 2 and i drive a cupra and i got the car with that in mind as i grew out of my old car the height adjustment makes a world of difference.

Yes you'll be fine. I'm 6'2" tall and "not slim" and fit in an FR no probs. Room is quite good for a small car too.

I have a 130 sport. Similar setup. And i fit fine and im 6'5.

6'7" and i get in my fr ok, seats as far back as it can go though

6'2" and one of the main reasons i sold my 2006 Sport was cos it didnt have height adjust and i never felt comfortable, hair brushing the roof lining as i'm driving!

have the FR now and fit in with loads of room to spare. Lowest setting i find too low, i crank it up a couple of times from bottom, seat 2/3 notches from back, and steering wheel half way out and all the way up. Very comfortable position indeed!

The best thing is the steering wheel is adjustable in all directions as is the seat, so you will find a comfortable position to drive in!
