Ibiza Mk5 Delivery

My girlfriend has been told her 1.6tdi CR will be arriving this coming week. This was ordered 1st of May. I'm still dubious if it will turn up or not as the dealer still won't pin point a day next week. If it turns up i'll let you all know what its like.

i did my order around the same time, in april i think....

my order was delayed as i was unsure whether i still wanted an ibiza when i got told the engine was being changed from the 1.9tdi to the 1.6 tdi......but that was like a week maximum...

i got told that it should either arrive thursday(just gone) or tuesday.....failing that, well my guy said to me that it would be three weeks maximum as of the beginning of this week.
whether it happens is another thing....

23rd may according to my order form,
i've gone for the 1.6tdi-cr which i thnk has a big part to play in the long delivery time due to the delay in getting the 1.6tdi manufacturing rolling

I ordered my car (though not the tdi) two weeks after you & my dealer tells me to expect delivery around the end of Sept. or beginning of Oct. so the timescale seems right.

A lot more LHD cars made than RHD cars,possibly !

Don't forget to post some pictures when you get it.

With the August shutdown, I guess there won't be any more cars built for the next four weeks so a car built at the end of August would take about three weeks to get to the dealer so end of Sept. delivery looks probable I guess.
