Imperial Blue paint question

im looking for some imperial blue spray paint and i went into halfords and gave them the paint code LS5N from the boot and they had now record of it.

they had an S5N and a S5N/98L or something like that which were described as azul imperial blue. im a bit confused as to which paint is right! does anybody know or ven know a good place to get it from for agood price as i want it to match well???

I had some S5N made up and it's more purple than blue, not happy

Just so others don't have a wasted journey.

Thankfully a mate can mix it there, so he's looking into it why it's wrong

its prob because you went to halfords mate there **** imho they got loads of stuff wrong for me in the past i ordered a backbox the wrong one turned up and air filter again the wrong one you get the picture.

but what you expect from 17 yo on minimum wage.

My mate is far from that

He his only as good as the machine, what told him, how much of each liquid to add to the "mix"

He his making me a mix that is lighter than i have now.

Surely it makes sense to lighten the colour as purple is a darker shade of blue.

On another note, I ordered Flash Red which is LP3G and they just called it P3G, and then they told me there were 3 types of P3G. , and to be honest on the colour card things none of them were a perfect match. Haven't yet painted the bits I ordered, but it will be interesting to see how good the match is.

As aBove to make it the blue it should be.

first time i got them to make up some S5N it turned out green.
i got it replaced (after a long discussion over the difference beween not guaranteeing paint match and it being a competely different colour).

Anyway the replacement was correct but clearly darker,

Any tips on what they changed?

I know hycote do a tin ready made, think we a have a retailer close by so if all else fails i'll be checking them out
