I've just never seen a definitive thread :shrug: must have tried 4 or 5 solutions myself difficult to test the same car, same time with different solutions though.......surprised at the BMC's result.

There was quite a difference between the BMC & Open Cone and looking back at peak g/s the BMC was flowing 184g/s and the open cone was 204g/s. Both done on the same day, with the same cold air feed and engine left to warm up to same temp each time.
 
Looks good, are there any rubber bushes etc to minimise vibration? I think they are a worthwhile addition as the MAF is so sensitive.

I haven't there in pic although since have used rubber gromits (used for 240v plug socket metal back box's to stop chaffing) to cushion it. Cheapy cheap from B&Q :D
