interior swap for my leon

im looking to swap my standard boring interior from my leon TDI s for the uprated Cupra R recaros, the cloth version. there is a set up for around £350 on the ebay right now but before i buy them i want to know if they are really worth spending all that money on? i know they look much better but are they noticeably more comfy?
and is that over the top for the money or a decent price to pay?

PS i have done numerous searches this morning on this issue but cant find straight forward answers so any advice would be great!

If they are one i've seen on Bay then they aren't Cupra R recaros just std ones But all mk4 and Seat Recaros seem to be the same just different covers, straight fit bolt in! Slightly narrower than std, hold you better, lumber adjustment, nice seats, miss mine!!!

Yup - they're not that much better than the stock 'sports' seats either. Personally i prefer the Recaros out of the Mk4 Golf Gti or if you're feeling flush, the Konigs out of the Mk4 R32 Golf. Old shape S3 seats also fit - apparently - will be on with that on friday.

Also don't rely on ebay, I picked up a full S3 leather interior for £400 in good condition delivered to my door - the same thing would have been £600+ on ebay!

they look like the LCR 225 seats...i'm guessing due to the red line on the top of the steering wheel. if they are then they should fit straight on

P.S. where abouts you from in london marcus?

You can tell they're the proper recaros as the headrests sit in a recess on top of the seat - the 'budget' recaros the headrests sit on top of the seats without a recess.

Both golf and lcr recaros sit about an inch higher on the subframe yes

No it's not that it's that the whole frame sits higher, the recaros themselves are far deeper to sit in than the factory rubbish

Weird - i'm in the process of fitting the leather S3 recaros and they're at least as deep as the Golf Mk4 recaros that are in there at the moment.
