Spring isnt for looks lol. If the car is stge 2 mapped then will require a stronger spring in the dv due to the pressure. If the spring is to soft for the pressure the turbo is boostin at then the car will feel like its losing power due to the piston not opening quik enough
 
OK - definitive answer........... polished DV Forge or Awesome 007 model. Pipes in green. Spring in yellow. Wheel centres in brown. Brakes in red. Mirror covers in brushed ally. Interior dash in carbon and other bits around door handles etc. Wipers in orange. Purple aerial. And tiger stripes. Blue bulb to replace sidelights in headlights. Boost gauge backlit in green. Green stuff brake pads.
 
Forge have a good reputation for a reason.I've found them good to deal with in the past and helpful, even sending out free replacement parts sometimes.
If that other one is Chinese, I wouldn't buy it if it were made of solid gold.The amount of **** they churn out which ends up on ebay leaving disappointed buyers with non working parts is unreal.
 
dont mean to be a thread jacker BUT (lol) is anyone running or tried the FORGE V SPLITTER?

I just looked it up and it looks like a "best of both worlds" type thing. The usual well engineered look seems to be there too. No idea if it would be effective or give you anything performance wise.

yeah its lovely peice of kit and to be honest im not looking for an increase just dont want to run a loss as ive removed my 007p to fit it, they dont have interchangeable springs either the top turns and tightens the spring up to accouint for the highter boost pressure
when i first put it on i could hear it leaking boost so ive tinkered with it over the last week or so and it seems pretty tuned in now, gives a nice noise aswell :)

the split r is poor, it only seems to work on 20% of cars the other 80 % get limp mode. now i know the guys who are running it will say its brill and im sure it is, but why doesnt it work on all are cars?.
i have had 4 split r dumpvalves and had limp mode every time. so imho its a case of try it and see, if it works then great but if not, sell it and buy a 007.
