As has been said before you can see up to 2 bar @ 3000rpm but at 6500rpm it will struggle to 1.1/1.2 bar ,hence why a k04 cannot produce more than 270bhp...

as my graphs show!

Very occasionally I see a peak of 24 or 25psi under extreme load (going up hill for instance), but generally it sits around 21-22 once it levels out...

so the same as me basically!

(like iv said i will check my boost reading when i get a chance!)

Highest actual looks like 2540mbar, so take off the 1013mbar of pressure at sea level. 1527mbar to psi is 22.147263psi
It wont read any higher than 2540 mbar, as thats the limit of the standard map sensor( so it's a standard one then not 3 bar) so any vag com logs for boost, dont tell the full storey( as it is maxing out and going above), you need a new accurate boost gauge for that James ;)

ok so some think j@mes torque figure is a tad high and tht due to his average psi boost figure compared to other mapped lcr's it does seem the torque figure is high but j@mes has been told an has a graph of wat his power is, he paid his money an was told by the "experts" tht his power and torque from there remap now if i was him id be tellin everyone thts wat my car is runnin till id been on other rollers to prove otherwise end of th day if ur told ur cars power by tunners why shouldnt u believe them after all thts wat they get paid for and why we go to them

He has every right to be happy and good on him....the most important thing is that he's happy with his car.

What people are saying to j@mes is, be happy, but understand that these are no more than pub figures.....as are most rolling road figures.....and comparison to any othe LCR on another set of rollers on a different day is impossible.

We haven't got enough details yet but the figures 'seem' high, implausibly high, and the original story with the Sainsbury's fuel etc is 'fishy'.......Tuners charge enough for there 'expert' services after all.

I hope j@mes is happy with his car, I also hope the 'experts' have done all they can for him and been upfront, honest and given the best customer service they can.

I'm happy sat here on the fence waiting for future results [B)]

all true ruddmeister i was just tryin to make it not seem like everyone was havin a go at j@mes he got a "good result" as u know some people go by rolling road figures as gospel an as u say they are pub talk rollers figures can very from rollers to rollers different coolin systems used and the whole days environement ie the temps an moisture in the air i had 3 rolling roads in 2 weeks on my rst an all had some very different results
